Friendly's

Quite a low key game - thought we were playing Royal Antwerp?

plenty of clubs have announced friendlies but not much news from afcb.

I see Blackburn played and beat Ajax on Saturday!

Nottingham Forest continue their friendly schedule on Tuesday when they face Greek Super League side Atromitos at the Karaiskakis Stadium in Athens.

This unprecedented World Cup break has put a hold on Forest's first season back in the Premier League for two decades just when their form was beginning to pick up, whereas Atromitos have also had their domestic campaign halted due to the tournament in Qatar.

Forest completed their first friendly of this winter break on Friday night, with an own goal from Steve Cook and a second-half strike from Tyrese Campbell meaning Championship side Stoke City ran out 2-1 winners at the Loughborough University Stadium.

Apparently Jamal Lowe and Jack Stephens didn't go to Dubai, but played for the dev squad yesterday.

Bit odd that

If we were jumping to conclusion I’d maybe suggest Stephens will be recalled by Southampton and maybe Lowe could be off once the window opens.

Both must want more game time.

If this foley deal goes through before February, would imagine we will look to buy another defender

I guess the Newcastle game which would have featured two reserve sides will now be a ‘pre season friendly’ with both first teams playing.
