..that is the problem I would say...PL footballers are precious and more sensitive!!
...I am not someone who boos, but back in the day I would expect a manager at HT to use this crowd reaction to gee up his side for the second half. Is it so wrong for players to be sent a message that what they have just served up is not acceptable and fans won't just passively put up with it?
For Howe to come out and protect his players in The Echo is admirable, but he must have been spitting feathers at HT having watching that inept offering last Saturday...much has been said about teh break but realistically most of the team looked off the mark and not performing.
