JD to Palace?

The experienced frontman had been struggling for goals in his second stint with Bournemouth but was on-form yesterday and got some praise from his old England boss Hodgson.

As Defoe was giving an interview to Kris Temple of the BBC after the game, the Palace manager walked past, tapped him on the shoulder and said, 'Still scoring them!'.

After a brief pause, Defoe replied, 'Still left me out of the World Cup though didn't he!".

they had alex crook on, a journo who covers the south coast for various media outlets. talked about the normal stuff we say on here - wages (65k), lack of game-time, EH liking his presence around the club. didn't appear to be any new or concrete news.
