Bournemouth are set to sign Leeds midfielder Lewis Cook in a deal worth around £6million. Medical scheduled for Friday #afcb #lufc

Only saw Leeds play once or twice last season- how good is Cook? Would he start for us?

He'd be right in the mix with Surman and Arter, different to those two, so it would depend on system and requirement, but yes he'd start a lot IMHO.

Sounds like a good signing then! Thanks mate.

A bit of context for how good Cook is and can be....

Lewis Cook won Football League's young player of the year last season. Previous winners; Dele Alli, Nathaniel Clyne and Gareth Bale #afcb

Been in chat with a dirty Leeds friend for about 6 months over this. Typical Yorkshire guff saying he would never sign for a small club like us..Leeds are bigger..blah blah

Wow some excellent company there. Hopefully we can extend his contract at least a few years then.

"Garry Monk, the new Leeds manager, had been hopeful of keeping Cook but it is believed Cellino has promised that the money from the sale will be available to strengthen his squad".

Ha ha ha ha......

What's worse selling Cook,or realising #afcb are a bigger draw than #lufc?i'd like 2 thank the sh ithouse in charge and the previous c unts.

Yikes. Eddie's flashing the cash like he's playing Monopoly. I'm loving it though. And all these young players. Seems he might be intent on sticking around to see this team win the Prem in 2022.

If you want to get a feel as to how good he is, head over to Twitter to get a sense of the anger that the Leeds (Scum) feel about it this transfer.

Please let this be true....
