Man City...

Well, not really, because a poorly run club will run into more and more non capex debt which lowers their spend cap, if they don't scout well they'll have expensive flops and get pulled into a transfer-debt loop which eats into their spend-cap. If they recruit the wrong manager, they'll need to replace him and inevitably that means buying new players, which again eats into the spend-cap. If they don't grow their infrastructure and revenue streams they're going to struggle to finance the deals long term.
I've heard those arguments made for PSR and SCR.

My understanding of anchoring is just that there's a spend cap at 4/5 times the poorest side which means those competing at the top end of the cap would be doing so on merit but the tier below would be trapped.

Happy to be corrected!

As long as Big Money is involved in OUR Football Game..with 'Soccer' as the ultimate plan. ..then there will be sh*t going down.
We can laugh about MC...but we could easily end up in the pan and being flushed down.

Trust no b@stard . End Of. Fullstop

I was in Manchester last night. The shopping centre has a giant LCD screen that fashes between "Manchester is Red, Manchester is Blue" I wish some scamp updated another screen with " next years fixtures could be league 2".

Because....oh hang on...let me think...ah yeah...because then...then mateyboy Iraola can give his worry beads a run out after binning us for that shower of sh*t.
...and also because I think MC may have been stitched up, deffo by Manu and probably by other Elite clubs ... but that's just an unproven and embryonic theory in my head so don't get any undergarments in twist over it dude !

Man Utd stitched up City by forcing them to fudge their financials and lie about it?

Somehow suitjob Manu fans among Football governing bodies have conspired to get the successful rival club out of the picture.. that's what I think is happening.

Chances are most Football Clubs at various times are 'fudging their finances'...we don't know that Foley isn't doing just that !
Manipulation of Money is the disease that is rife throughout the Football World .
