Murray to Brighton?

question is after this move, will we look to get in another striker in the same mould (attacker of crosses into the box) to compliment all of our other pretty similar strikers, or does afobe tick that box?

I'd be surprised if another came in after the arrival of Mousset.

If we are now going the ubiquitous 4-3-3 with a "maverick" (Gradel), "goalscorer" (Wilson) and "workhorse" (King) then we must have replacements in the pipeline.

Difficult to see where Stanislas/Pugh/Wee Man fit into this. Mousset, I guess, fits into the King or Gradel role as backup, as does Afobe for Wilson.

currently training with the under 21s - isn't that the equivalent of the naughty step?

yeah, normally a sign that is someone is surplus to requirements and/or likely to have a negative to influence on the first team.

Reading to hijack the deal? Now that would be funny. http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/reading-set-to-land-bournemouth-striker-glenn-murray-4136372

When did journalists let the truth get in the way of a story? It is no coincidence that the Leave campaign was led by two ex-journalists, supported by Murdoch, and based on a pack of lies.

Going on a season long loan according to Mark McAdam from Sky Sports

Sky Sources:

#afcb striker Glenn Murray set to sign a season long loan deal with Brighton today.

Edited to add the Ohec have now caught up:-

which supposedly includes a 7 figure loan fee plus payment of all his wages so another one off the wage bill with some money recuperated - could mean a loss of a couple of million

confirmed

Clears the decks a bit more and if it covers a quarter of his fee and his wages for the year then it's financially not bad for us either.

Maybe in a minority here, but I like Murray.

Scorer of the goal, at probably the best game of football I've seen for donkeys years - I'll never forget that night at Chelsea.

Good luck to him.
