The lies from the campaign have been revealed and the truth of what leaving means has become far more apparent.
The Romans, Vikings and Normans have shaped the country in many ways. We are mostly descendents of them. The real English, the Celts, all fled to Cornwall, Scotland and Wales.
Which lie was that?
The lie that voting leave would bring about an immediate recession...
OR the lie that if the referendum result was to leave the Chancellor would immediately bring in an emergency budget?
Both sides lied. Badly.
Acknowledge the lies of both, equally, or ignore them both.
Cherry picking only the lies which suit your argument makes you look a fool.
To be fair, Osborne didn’t stick around long enough to bring in the budget.
This country will not be dictated to by anyone.....we've had all that s##t from the Romans, Vikings, Normans and attempts by The Kaiser and Schicklegrubers boy to emulate them........no more will this Island take s##t from over the channel......No.....we are not having it from paper planes either! B#llocks are we !
Its about time people started respecting what our previous generations fought for and man up to these paper pushing weasals!
We only wanted to be in a ' common market' ....not to be Ruled!!! End of! For Christ sake Educate your kids on this!
Brexit will happen IMO, I can't see anyone really doing the right thing and taking another vote back to the populous over leaving The EU..!
2017 electionThe pm was elected as leader of the party in 2016, was another election in 2018 the right thing?
It’s nothing to do with not liking the result. There are many people who liked the original result but are now seeing the mess we’ve put ourselves in. I realise the fear hardened leavers feel but the democratic thing to do is put May’s deal th the people (especially those who voted leave). So the 'right thing' is another vote because you weren't happy with the result of this one ? My first laugh of the morning I guess before Mr positive returns on the Wolves thread .
As for the next election, without doubt Labour will win as there will be some kind of protest vote .

...the result was based on people being fed lies and misleading so called facts...so yes I would like another referendum..and I am not alone in that before you mock me red house! So the 'right thing' is another vote because you weren't happy with the result of this one ? We could have a party standing with the offer of another referendum in their manifesto?
