Could and should have been us with a fairly clear run to a Wembley final...we should have done better in the third round.

Funny old game football, talk of the team from the higher league being hard done by the officials today. When in the PL, it’s the top six that seem to get the decisions.

On the bright side...we can take points off them and Saints....and if Cardiff managed to pull out 3 wins, one of them could be in big trouble!
That Brighton v Saints and the Brighton v Cardiff are big!
But if Burnley beat Cardiff that should finish it!

Don't write off Burnley for the drop, that was a disastrous defeat against 10 man Leicester. they also have 3 games against top 6 sides left out of 7. that game against Cardiff is a real 6 pointer.

...credit to Brighton played poorly but still showed enough grit and determination to win...that sort of fighting spirit can only help bond the team together....and THAT is what rankles with me when we try and put on performance for our cup games!

We generally just let cup teams that we play wee all over us....


am I the only one to think that Cooper's penalty miss was 'karma' for his earlier foul on Murray which wasn't spotted by the officials in the lead up to Pearce's headed goal?
