I suppose after years of suffering Dyche even Parker might seem exciting.
Parker would be a decent appointment for them I think, provided it’s no more than 2 years as he could help get them up before throwing his toys out the pram. I’d certainly take him over Lampard who seems to stand on his reputation as a player more than a manager (is that fair?) Feel really sorry for Argyle fans though having Rooney parachuted into their club - did they not speak to Birmingham?Don't think there's a thread but if there is, merge away...
The Burnley managerial race has taken an unexpected turn with both Lampard and Parker being mentioned. If they go with Lamps then that's a brave choice...
No.Robins for Burnley?
Does seem odd to be starting on 9th August, has it always been this early?
WowOur first ever game in the Premier League was actually nine years ago yesterday.
And still, football follower’s will ask me, ‘when are you going back to where you belong’?Our first ever game in the Premier League was actually nine years ago yesterday.
When we win itAnd still, football follower’s will ask me, ‘when are you going back to where you belong’?
At what point will we be considered as belonging in the EPL?

Surely world famous Forest should be on your list?I'd say there are only about 10 clubs who you could truly say "belong" in the EPL.
The two Manchesters, Liverpool and Everton, the four big London teams (Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, West Ham), Newcastle and Villa. That's about it, I'd say.
Teams like AFCB, Brighton, Brentford...I think we'd have to spend decades in the top flight and actually win things before we could be regarded as part of the EPL furniture.
And of course we would also have to build an EPL quality stadium before we could be taken entirely seriously by the establishment.
Maybe it is only the City Ground that is world famousSurely world famous Forest should be on your list?
