Non - Lebanese Mixed Grill

Sorry Roger

Now I am very fond of Middle Eastern and North African food. But WTF was the BBC sports feed on about when it described Lewis Cook’s goal as fantastic and the equivalent of a Lebanese Mixed Grill?

Surely one of the most bizarre sporting similes ever made. Or was it the unintended love child of predictive text and, if so, what on earth was the writer trying to say?

Just had a nose on Google not much help!
Bournemouth has a Lebanese restaurant called Levant.
Checked the menu and mixed grill is simply lamb chicken and minced lamb with peppers, onions and tomatoes,so basically shish and kofte kebabs that you can get from your local kebab house.

Now it's starting to bug me,it's now going to become a culinary ear-worm!

A Lebanese mixed grill looks pretty nice , but as Cook is an England captain who led us to World Cup glory surely it should have been a full English ?
