Non - Pandemic

There's the South African variant, the Indian variant and the UK... er sorry, Kent variant. ;-_

Tbf isn't this how all news is reported? Things that happen in far flung places tend to be said to have happened in X country. Things that happen here are reported in a more specific way. It would hardly be much good if the six o'clock news reported on a large house fire in, er, England.

It's known as the UK variant outside the UK as far as I know.

Probably more similar sounding to the Kent variant I'd imagine.

Glad to see you are resorting to the all Tory voters are thick line, that always guarantees an election win, Brexit etc. Now who are the fools.............................
Voters choosing Conservative are motivated by self interest and vote accordingly.

Non aligned voters choose the party that tells them what they want to hear.

This has resulted in Cameron, May, Johnson leading the country.

So what you're saying is that you and Nina are the only people who vote selflessly, intelligently and for the greater good?

Remind us again who you voted for Jim and Nina ?

Matt Hancock was asked just now in Parliament by Jeremy Hunt if people going on holiday abroad should be going to Amber countries, his answer was no.

But we see today some people have done just that.

They have to quarantine when they get back, but how certain can our government be that they will, are checks done?

MP asks for clarity on amber list - can we holiday there?

"The answer is no," the health secretary says.

In response to a question from Jeremy Hunt, the former health secretary, Mr Hancock says: "The official government advice is very clear, that people should not travel to amber or red list countries or territories. People should not travel to amber list countries for a holiday."

He adds: "Unless you have an exceptional reason, you shouldn't be travelling there."

Mr Hancock says the lists will be reviewed every three weeks.
