Think a few of us called this right back when they first came up with the idea, you and I included. Always seemed an empty threat to convince people to get the jab.
Are cases still rising? All about opinions, but personally think ditching them is a mistake.
Cases are still rising and we haven’t reached the Autumn/Winter period yet.
We have passports, driving licences etc with ID.
So with vaccine passports, if people don’t want the vaccine by choice, then why should they possibly put others at risk in crowded indoor venues.

Tests are certainly rising, they are up from a daily average of 750,000 during August to a daily average this week of 1.25 million - an increase of 60%. That would almost certainly increase the number of positive tests. Are cases still rising?
Another Government policy in the bin then having probably cost millions to set up ?
TBH not sure how much they were being checked at these events.

Mixed messages from the Government again?
U.K. Health Secretary Matt Hancock hailed Tuesday’s announcement as another success for British life sciences.
“The U.K. government has funded these clinical trials and it is fantastic to see Valneva’s vaccine produces a strong immune response,” he said in a press release. “This vaccine will be made onshore in Livingston in Scotland, giving another boost to British life science, and if approved will play an important role in protecting our communities.”
The French company said it is in “ongoing” discussions with other regulators. Valneva and the European Commission have not signed an advanced purchasing agreement, but completed “exploratory talks” to secure up to 60 million doses for the bloc.
