Non - Space Race

Just filthy rich men proving how high they can p155 up a wall, whereas a manned mission to Mars would really be something worth doing and a genuine historical achievement.

Neil Armstrong, astronaut, he had balls bigger than king kong.
First big suit on the moon and he's off to play golf.
Hole in one!

2 things in the 20th century that drove almost every technological innovation that we now take for granted:

1) War
2) Space race

I know which I prefer.

So Starship is going to be put on top of the Super Heavy Booster. Live pictures here:

Scrub that; it's a bit blowy today. They'll try again tomorrow.

Did anyone check on his crew mates? View attachment 6508
I took a close interest in this today as I work for the same company as one of the two paying passengers. I have to say whilst it is technically very impressive it does look like an astonishing waste of money by rich people. What p*ss*s me off the most is the very righteous bullsh*t beforehand about why they want to go into space, to "inspire future generations" blah blah, "save the fragile planet", blah blah. Get over yourselves, you have big egos and full pockets. I then kicked myself for watching the damn thing having just fed their egos a little further.
