It seems you picked out the easy bits to, fairly, defend, but the rest of the article is questionable and JK Rowling pretty much puts it in perspective for me.

Pollywally doesn't like the word 'nutter' because he is one....full on gaga Batman !

I've recently sent an Email to Green HQ..formerly relinquishing my membership after 25 years and I will vote for some other Party at the next GE.

If we take it all too seriously...THEY make fools of us ....THEY being the Politicians and Moneymakers...
..the serious part of taking it seriously is the parting of good money...so before you buy a shirt with a poxy pink circle ..think of what pleasures you could of invested in for a similar outlay of cash...
..maybe early editions of novels by Steinbeck that you could eventually sell on for profit after learning about characters of humour and grit...that faced hardships far greater than Woke b@stards that masquerade as mentors in today's British Society...books such as Cannery Row , Mice and Men, Winter of our Discontent, Sweet Thursday... ...or Grapes of Wrath, East of Eden, if you can get through them ! ( not easy !)
Real characterful people with sharp edges !

Recall you saying before about voting for them. Did assume you wouldnt be anymore.

Sure they used to be a slightly quirky alternative vote. A bunch of vegans, who you never really saw on prime time tv, more at 1030am on a regional tv show where they'd be interviewed before setting off on a charity bike ride across the sussex downs.

Insane what they've become, guess they worked out by forming alliance with certain demographics, they could win a few more seats. Flipping heck, if I ever saw a conflict of interest a bunch of useful.Seems like he shot himself in the :D

Absolutely weirdest alliance you can think of. I think the Greens claim ALL people welcome into Greens, regardless of religion, sexuality. Which sounds great of course, particularly to all the 'just show love', left wing brainwashed useful idiots, who think their tolerance will play out just fine - and Greens open borders and completely uncontrolled immigration will work out fine for everyone, if it was to come to fruition.

I'm not sure the likes of Mothin Ali and his associates agree, notdisclosing their full hand - he doesnt even try lying when asked about LBTQ stuff - jsut doesnt bother answering. Pretty much up there with the most orthodox, hardline demographics you can imagine in the world - with extreme conservative right wing ideals, that probably make reform look like lib dems ! Pallying up with a party lead by a gay jew :D. Seems like a trojan horse, if ever theres been one.

If you google him, he's been involved in a lot controversy. Videos of him that allegedly appears to show him subtly and deliberately behaving in a why to allegedly antagonize and provoke reactions at protests, political events to frame others in a bad light at certain moments. Allegedly Bullying, seemingly racially motivated behaviour towards others.

Luckily they seem to have self destructed, because there seemed to be a worrying volume of people voting for them, and if labour continued making a mess, Greens may have attracted more of left wing vote. I know some people believe we can and should all live together with no sense of judgement and worry about how it would play out in the real world, but you probably need to seek help given everything we know.

So let me get this right. You've been totally fine with funding the following long standing policies of the Green party.

Decriminalisation of the IRA and Al Queda

Total decriminalisation of all drugs

Hardline gender identity politics

Completely open boarders and citizenship (with full benefits) for anyone who lands on our shores

Total decriminalisation of sex work

Cutting down prison places to as near to zero as possible

Reparations for perceived historical wrongs

Total disarmament and withdrawal from NATO.

And so on.

BUT it's replacing "mums and dads" with "parents" that offends you? :ROFLMAO:

Well. .You've got a bit right... the last sentence tbh.

I started out with Green around 2000 for a new perspective on Life and it's trials and tribulations...
... Green about Green seemed an Idea as good as any....hedges...trees...wildcats and beavers... that kind of stuff..I naively went with that for a few years.. absolutely none of all that sh*t you mention..
...just supporting hedgehogs and anything that lived in trees..birds...insects...fruit and veg production...cattle and sheep etcetera...it's like picking out policies I like and ignoring other paths they go down ..same with what most folk do with the Party they support..if you can align with that way of thinking....you see this is where Party Politics falls over and cannot totally get across it's lines...divisions within usually disrupt a Party when the Conference Gung Ho stuff is done and the business of Action is required on the proverbial 'manifesto'...bugger all of any use gets done..All Party's.. and All Governments that is !

Green went off it's tracks a lot sooner than I'd bargained for..and I regret not jettisoning them before I did.
Christ know where I go next..if with any of the buggers...certainly not extreme Left or Right....
..when Age kicks in seriously...you think OK it's All for those that it matters to most ...to worry themselves over...the 'Mum's and Dad's ' of the Future...that brings it back nicely to where we started !
