Really impressed with some of the stuff on Apple TV. Slow Horses, Masters of the Air to name a couple of really good offerings. And I thought Greyhound was one of the best war films I've seen- would put it up there with Saving Private Ryan or The Pacific series.

Another one from Channel 4 which we really enjoyed was Seaside Hotel.

Charming Danish drama from Walter Presents set from the 1920s to the 1940s. Wealthy guests, and not-so-wealthy staff and locals, make a regular hotbed of intrigue at a luxury seaside hotel.

Seaside Hotel is one of the best non English language series I’ve seen. Up there with Spiral although totally different in pace, plot and characterisation. I’ve been to Skagen in the Winter and fell in love with place.

I felt there was too much need to suspend belief watching Greyhound. Not least Tom being about 20 years too old. They didn't depict submarine warfare very well...oh and submarines don't sound like whales.

So a fun 90 mins but not a serious war movie
 
Just finished the first series of Paradise on Disney+.

Thought it was really good, but pessimistic about them stretching out into a second series…

I thought the original trailer was genius at giving nothing away. I started watching what I thought was a completely different series. Like you say, once everything is explained, the series is pretty much done.
 
Just finishing Hijack 2 which has been good.
Finished season 2 of The Night Agent which was good.
Currently bunge watching Suits before doing season 3 of Night Agent
Recently finished rewatching all of Benidorm. Which I find hilarious everytime

Season 2 of the Night Agent is the weakest. Picks back up nicely in Season 3.
