Non - What to watch?

Sounds a bit different, has a good cast list of names.

Might be worth looking out for.

First-look pictures have been released of California Avenue, a new drama from BAFTA Award-winning writer and director Hugo Blick (The English, The Honourable Woman, Marion and Geoff) for BBC iPlayer and BBC One.

The series features a stellar cast of Bill Nighy (Living, About Time), Helena Bonham Carter (The Crown, Nolly), Erin Doherty (The Crown, Adolescence) and Tom Burke (Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, The Souvenir), who are joined by Kate Robbins (After Life, Unforgotten), Paul Kaye (Small Prophets, Shardlake) and newcomer Cammie Liebreich.

Small Prophets was on BBC2.

Recorded this 6 part 30 minute series written by McKenzie Crook and only just watched it. Really captivating what an incredible imagination he has. Looks like another series in due course. It just built and I watched it with a smile on my face. Given the rubbish on tv very refreshing.

Enjoyed it, it was different, but preferred the Detectorists.

Watched "89" last night, apparently released in 2017....never heard of it before, about Arsenal winning the title at Liverpool, thought it was very good .
