No updates from the club for over 15 minutes, must be a blinding second half :yes: Perhaps the bloke doing the updates has fallen asleep.

The clubs “live” text updates are a joke. Had a few mentions Bout some subs around 70th min, now when updated the latest news is from the 63 min!
Not to mention when you click the “listen live” button on the page it takes you to a defunct stream for afcb v Burnley.

A spokesman for the club said: “AFC Bournemouth are aware of supporters’ desire for further information regarding the friendly against Nottingham Forest.

“The club had intended to provide an update on the game following the Final whistle and this remains the case.”

Quality !

Don’t think we’re that bothered on the promised update after what seems to have been a poor display and an even poorer lack of a “live update”during the match.Still we’ve kept our opponents guessing about our starting line up.

From Forest’s official match report (issued while our own live updates were still in the middle of the second half)

In the end it was a comfortable victory for Aitor Karanka’s men.
I guess that about sums it up.

Forest took it seriously and improved throughout the game. Had several efforts on target and were hardly bothered by our forwards. Looked a decent, coherent outfit.

As for us ... will have done nothing for morale and leaves Eddie much to ponder:

- Daniels slow and outfoxed on many occasions, conceding the second goal;
- Simpson played out of position and lost the plot for Forest’s first. Is reliant on his left foot and seemed bewildered on the right side of defence. Hope he’s not another Cargill;
- Francis slow and too keen to blame others;
- Fraser lightweight;
- Mousset anonymous.

Bright spots: Brooks, Ake and Gosling.

Thought: a further bid for Mepham is a very good idea.
