1983 Ian Thompson and Trevor Morgan both score to send Oxford United back home beaten 2-1. Attendance: 4,758.

1985 As well as studying (mostly), I was getting around the country watching football and aAFCB quite a lot. This Tuesday night match at Bootham Crescent wasn’t my first visit there, and sadly was another defeat. Colin Russells only goal wasn’t enough as the Minster Men doubled our tally. A long trip home. Attendance: 4,194.

1988 (Non) Second game in consecutive days. Went with a couple of mates to see West Ham beat Newcastle 2-0.

1991 A 3-0 Autoglass Trophy win over Swansea watched by a sub-2k crowd. Wood (2) and McGorry. Attendance: 1,815.

1994 Defence exposed by Bradford who score three times to The Cherries two at Dean Court. Scott Mean scoring from a spot kick, and Mark Morris the other. Attendance: 3,037.

2005 Incredible when you’re reminded that a current player (Andrew Surman) scored for AFCB THIRTEEN years ago, and he’s still going strong now. Unfortunately his goal wasn’t enough to prevent a 1-2 home defeat to Port Vale. Attendance: 6,320.

2011 Another 1-2 home defeat (Bury), and another current player (Pugh) on target. Attendance: 6,122.

2016 A very good performance which earned a 0-0 draw against a strong Tottenham Hotspur team. Attendance: 11,201 (We used to dreeeaaamm of getting 11,201 crowds).
