Players I would like to see us get in...

Straight into starting 11 signings:
Ben Pearson - Preston - Central Midfielder, quality on the ball and decent engine
Craig Dawson - West Brom - right sided CB who can also cover RB, lots of PL experience to slot straight in
Jay Rodriguez - West From - winger/forward option who would slot straight in, Eddie knows him well

Subs bench development signings:
David Brooks - Sheffield United - winger/forward option who would be more a developmental prospect
Chris Mepham - Brentford CB as already linked, or as an alternative:
Zak Vyner - Bristol City - right sided CB who can cover right back

Jay Rodriguez - West From - winger/forward option who would slot straight in, Eddie knows him well

Burnley supposed to be after him as well.

Jo Allen (Stoke) - Slot right in alongside L.Cook
Jay Rodriguez (WBA) - We need some more options up front
Gibbs (WBA) - Decent LB and could either Push Daniels on or replace him

joe bryan from brizzle a more likely/gettable option to tierney imo

prefer zouma to craig dawson - can cover both rcb and rb, equal height 6' 3", a better age for development and more comfortable bringing the ball out/playing out from the back

yes to mepham

rb moritz bauer from stoke

adama traore from boro

danny drinkwater or ruben loftus-cheek

jay rodriguez

charly musonda on loan

Zouma would work well with Ake

Agree, someone like Joe Bryan would be good at left back, also scores goals. Tierney would be awesome but just can't see it happening.

Someone like Loftus Cheek to partner Lewis in midfield would be spot on [ Ben Pearson is decent but too diminutive to be able to play alongside Lewis I would say ]

James Maddison as a number ten would be great, or maybe Tom Cairney if Fulham don't come up.

Jay Rodriguez has always impressed me, he'd be a quality addition.

We definitely need a new left back and I would like to sign a right back as well if we can. Zouma, Ake, Cook and Mings [ and Mepham? ] as centre backs would be decent.

I do also think another wide man is needed, I'd give Mahoney more time as I'm sure he has the talent but still young.

If I could have some picks from what I have seen this season, I would bring these in.

Mariano Diaz - Lyon. Lightening striker who has been a revelation this year.

Nicholas Pepe - Lille. We are always being linked with wingers. Another one with a turn of pace that cuts open defences. Very impressed with him.

As for defenders...There isn't much out there,

Nathan Byrne has impressed for Wigan this year. At one point we had him on loan.

Here are 7 players that I like the look of:

Kieran Gibbs - West Brom - LB
James Tavernier - Rangers - RB
Nathan Byrne - Wigan - RB
Joe Allen - Stoke - CM
Jarrod Bowen - Hull - LM/RM
Jordan Ayew - Swansea - ST
Kenneth Zohore - Cardiff - ST

Joe Allen would transform our midfield imo. Could be amazing with Lewis Cook.

I suspect lots of teams will be in for him and I wouldn't bet againt him going to Celtic.

Robert Huth is available.

Don't understand the clamour for Roriguez. Yes, he can score against our defence but he's not exactly prolific, averaging a goal every 5 games or so
Yaya Toure for a season could be fun
Ryan Sessegnon
