Premier League 25/26

yes. They're just behind but that would swing in their favour.

We'd be extremely unlucky to lose out now. Can only happen if all these six games go this way:

We lose to City
Chelsea beat Spurs
We lose to Forest
Chelsea win at Sunderland
Brentford win at Liverpool
Brighton win at home to Man Utd.

Thats the only combination that can leave us dropping to 9th.
I think!

I wonder what odds we'd get as an acca on those results?.......
Your calculations are correct. Now if I just put a little bet on that set of results, I can guarantee it will fall!

Two things that can also give us hope. Chelsea will have a lot of tired legs after the cup final. Spurs are fresh and badly need the result. Not to mention, how motivated are Chelsea going to be to qualify for Europa league footy anyway? Worst thing that could happen to them would be to end up in the conference league! Okay so that’s three things. Not to mention the positive that Sunderland winning gives them something to play for on the last day.

I really don’t know what I want from Newcastle v West Ham…

A result for Newcastle leaves Spurs knowing that they can secure safety with a win against Chelsea…

… but a win for West Ham would really really need a then very nervy Spurs to get a result against Chelsea.

One more bonus from today. It seems highly likely that nothing more than a win will do for Brentford against Liverpool on the last day. The circumstances where they'd settle for a draw are remote.

So whether we're still in with a chance of overtaking the scousers for us to finish 5th or still in with a chance of the scousers overtaking a Villa team to leave them in fifth after they've hopefully won the Europa League, it's all good! Brentford won't be settling.

Two things give us hope ! How about a third - we are a feckin good team and deserve to be where we are and can beat anybody in this league. Its the teams below us that need hope.

I just want West Ham to lose and go down, the rest will take care of itself. Spurs v Chelsea is always a feisty affair on and off the pitch, and on current form I would say Spurs may have the edge.

West Ham win, definitely.

Whatever it is it’s worth a 20 quid insurance bet.

If Newcastle win then a point for Spurs will be enough, they have a vastly superior GD. Get in there you Geordies !!!!
