QPR ticket available if anyone needs one

He shouldn't have the points, he's not going to the game.

what if he planned to attend but got sick last minute. Should he get the points? If his ticket goes to the match in someone’s pocket does the ticket get the points? If a tree falls in the woods and no-one is around to hear it, should it get the points? If my ticket is locked into a box, at 3pm on Saturday is it a point, no points or both? Philosophical minefield really ;)

I have a very vague internal moral code with this sort of thing. I think to get the points you have to have made some kind of commitment. So selling for face value (for example) means you’ve not made any outlay so should get no points. If you couldn’t go and gave tickets to a mate for free then I think you should get the point in the same way as many ST holders operate.

thankfully the practice of hogging points is not as common as it was in the prem days and I guess is one contributing factor behind the amount of people now able to get their own tickets and get on the points system themselves.
