It being Abba Day (6th April 1974 was when Waterloo won Eurovision), season 1973-74 was brought to mind.
After beating Hereford at home on the 2nd of March, we were in fourth position just four points behind the leaders.
Then we didn't win a single match the rest of the season.
If it had been three points for a win back then, we would have finished even lower.
