I couldn't remember if he was the guy who had that bone fusion problem in his foot. If it is he's got over it and is still playing football at 50.

After Stan and Smudger kept their options open last summer before signing a contract, their 16 games between them is just a big a waste of roubles.

Hasn't worked out well so far, always was going to be 'high risk' signing, given has injury record in recent years.

Hopefully he can stay fit and prove his value as tge season reaches crunch point.
