works the other way too, so Surridge to Stoke was only 5m or top end fee that was quoted based on achievements over a few years and probably only 1 or 2m up front

It’s looking increasing likely that Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie will sign for Bournemouth today.
Christie is currently with the Scotland squad and is due to fly out to Denmark this afternoon ahead of tomorrow night’s game – the first in a World Cup Qualifier triple header.
Scotland are scheduled to train in Edinburgh this morning with Steve Clarke due to face the media around lunchtime.
