Safe standing

Reading this thread shows how much the "club" has moved away from its fans on a day when they jokingly proclaim it is a Fan's Appreciation Day. Time to rethink Jim something else that has gone wrong, to add to the list, and betrays the community/family club agenda.

Maybe the players will show appreciation when they leave the pitch after the warm up. Perhaps they are saving all the acknowledgement for fan appreciation day?

There might even be a committee organising it.

For the record I didn't have to show my ticket to anyone outside of the ground. Security staff by the barriers but no checks.
2 positives for me the ice cream van took cash and as I entered the ground Caroline was in full voice. 2 win wins.

If I had not passed the original entry point by showing my ticket I would not be on the complex. To keep on showing the ticket is tiresome particularly if the steward knows me but has to do it because it is "orders:".
I showed it once on entry to the new zone and again on entry to the ground. Not exactly a big deal

Steward on the stairs between block 12 and 13 was being incredibly precise about whether people were encroaching on the stairway. Checked feet and asked them to move when foot wss 2 inches inside the line of the stairway.

Not his fault i am sure he is just following orders.

Perhaps VAR could be useful? Footage (no pun intended) could be sent out with warning letters ;-)

So the edge of the step appears the same colour as the rest of the step to colour blind people? Just like they looked to everyone before they painted them?
Yeah I'm struggling with this one too and the justification doesn't make sense.

The red paint looks green and the concrete grey or yellow. The solution is to paint it white which to me is closer to yellow and grey than red or green.

You want to assume honest intentions but the way the issue has been so poorly articulated it comes across a bit compoface.
