I just can’t see where the points are going to come from. We will certainly be rock bottom at Christmas and then by the time other teams have strengthened and teams have a new manager with a honeymoon period we will need to prepare for The Championship.

Exactly ! December again looks to be the toughest month but still nowhere near as bad as last year. The big plus is that after that hectic part of the schedule we have this prolonged period with plenty of opportunities to regain any points lost in December. Overall I think the fixture computer has been fairly kind to us and it's the sort of schedule which could see us achieve some kind of consistency in terms of results. Fingers crossed we avoid too much transfer disruption and can keep our key players fit throughout the season.
 
Normally I think you are best playing promoted teams when their bubble has burst so I’m a bit nervous about playing them first two games.

That said Cardiff last year were no issue so maybe it’s just my natural pessimism coming through.....
