Never understood all the hype about him. Every time we came up against a decent side ie Belgium or Croatia we had our asses handed to us.
 
A little harsh Al,

Doesn’t matter how we got there but we reached our first semi final for 28 years, we’ve qualified for the final 4 again albeit it’s perceived as a Mickey Mouse tournament at the moment. He must have a decent win percentage. He’s investing in youth that look promising.

He has until after Euro 2020 for me.

It would have been a great tournament to win. It will develop into a decent bit of international silverware.

That said it's fairly easy to get over when you get knocked out.

Jesus talk about over reaction! Yes the draw opened up in Russia, but you still have to take advantage and we did.

Tonight without doubt was poor, silly team selection but you cannot legislate for the errors for goals 2 and 3 and were half a football boot from winning.

We are not the best side in the world by any means, but at least we have a team who actually play as a team and have got the nation behind them again!
 
The sad thing is that he's the best we can get..........an England manager who wouldn't have got an interview with any PL club.......depressing.....i can go back to being completely disinterested in international football again now.
 
players & fans alike should be having a rest from footy from a few weeks ago until next season.... there's too much of it
