Talking Cherries

In today's Echo there is an article about Talking Cherries a fan led mental health support scheme which I think I have read about before. One of the support workers mentioned is Tom Jordan who many will know from BOTN particularly the players rating shows.

There is a dedicated website :https://talkingcherries.org.uk which is very good.

Well done to all involved in helping their fellow fans.

Absolutely brilliant, well done to all those involved in Talking Cherries, such a worthy initiative!

Quite a contrast to when Board representatives engaged with the Cherries Trust recently, an event that certainly tested ones sanity...appropriately titled Talking Bollox!

There's a very moving video on COWS, Hannah's story. Almost harrowing, especially if you know her or knew her boyfriend Pete ( he used to post on here ).
Nothing but admiration for her, after all she's been through, and everyone involved in Talking Cherries.
We all need to talk at sometime and sometimes, we need to be the listener.

watched it twice, very well made. my heart goes out to her and those affected. she spoke brilliantly. well done afcb & all those quiet volunteers who get involved.
