Talksport

Exactly. He's a shock-jock. His job relies on listener participation.
That's why he's always riding arsenal – he knows they bite every single time.

I expect he's completely different off air.
And quite honestly, anyone who irritates Alan Brazil is alright in my eyes.

I actually find Durham to be fine when he does the Saturday scores show, as he just presents the facts on what is happening. But I won't listen to his regular prog.

I've started to have a listen to TalkSport 2 recently, seems to be more sensible, some less well know presenters but they are not trying to get bites from callers.

Well, there's a difference between pronouncing a name "the English way," and translating it into English.
If we did the latter, Diego Rico would be Jim Ritchie.

“Rico” also translates as tasty (in the sense of “this paella is lovely”) so potentially we have a left back called Jamie Yummy.

Calls to mind a former left back whose haircut & leggings were 100% Jamie Yummy.

It's an interesting debate, on the one hand it's courtesy to try and pronounce someone's name correctly, but on the other we don't refer to "Paree" or "Munchen"; however, the way Durham put it across was crass (no change there).
