The Never Ending Jukebox Track Three

“When The Levee Breaks” is a powerful, thought-provoking and emotionally-charged classic by Led Zeppelin, from their Led Zeppelin IV album.
The song is a rework of the 1929 original release by Kansas Joe Mccoy and Memphis Minnie about the Great Mississippi Flood of 1927; the most destructive river flooding in U.S. history.

Watching The Clash on Something Else reminded me of this. Run by young people aged 16-20 it had some brilliant music. This is one example. It shows the energy of The Jam live, they were always brilliant. The floor of the old Arts Centre used to bounce and bounce when they played.

Worth watching the end where the hosts mention some letters the BBC received. Shows that intolerance and prejudice isn’t a new thing.

As a contrast to Bonnie Raitt, how's about some NWA?

1988!
Where did the years go?

Express yourself, maybe Parker should be playing this pre-match....................................
