Tyler Adams

Is there any AFCB fan who doesnt rate Adams other than Dawson? Obviously plenty wouldn't necessarily pick him to start every game atm but surely everyone can see he's a great player?

Their number 11 sat between the defence and midfield and received the ball to feet 4 times in a row with no one near him and he could just turn and run at the defence. It was a formation change. Thankfully the Adams sub made sure to cover him and their purple patch fizzled out.

What happened was Nmecha went wide and Aaronson came in to the 10 as they switched to 4-3-3.
Christie and Scott got outnumbered and Aaronson found some really good pockets of space in behind them.

We fixed it because Tav came inside and sat deeper than Kroupi so Adams could take care of Aaronson.

As you say they started exploiting the gap that Adams normally dominates. He came on and snuffed it out.

We cancelled it out eventually. But we were a bit slow to react I thought. Thankfully it didn’t cost us.
