Jonathan Moss is the referee for this game.

We had him last season in two home games, in the 1-1 draw with Saints and the 2-2 draw with Palace.

He could be a good investment for Watford.

Watford have reportedly completed a deal to sign Fluminense youngster Joao Pedro in a move which will see the forward arrive in England in January 2020.

The 17-year-old is said to have passed a medical with the Vicarage Road club and it is expected that the finishing touches to his transfer will be completed in the next few days.

No transfer fee has been disclosed for Pedro, who is one of Brazilian club Fluminense’s most promising youth products, but the final figure is likely to include a number of performance related bonuses.

He led the club’s under-17 scoring charts last season, notching 25 goals to be the most productive goalscorer in his age group across Brazil.

Watford’s previous dealings with Fluminense saw them bring Richarlison to the club in the summer of 2017 for £11.2 million – a fee they made a considerable profit on when Everton paid £44m to sign the forward a year later.

Will The Draw Sequence Be Broken?

After two wins at Dean Court under floodlights, our next game sees us travel the relative short distance to Hertfordshire and Vicarage Road, home of Watford (the Hornets). It follows our victories against Blackburn Rovers in the League cup and our first home win in the Premier League against Crystal Palace on Monday.

Javier Gracia who took over in January of last season as the Watford manager, is still in charge for this season. Watford have/had a history in the past few seasons of changing manager at the end of the season. Gracia brought in Gerard Deulofeu from Barcelona for £11.5 million, the winger is yet to feature for Watford due to injury. Marc Navarro a defender from Espanyol for an undisclosed fee. Goalkeeper Ben Foster signed from West Brom for an undisclosed fee. Defender Adam Masina from Bologna for a £3.5 million fee. Swedish International winger Ken Sema from Ostersunds, again for an undisclosed fee. 18-year-old Domingos Quina a midfield player from West Ham for an undisclosed fee. Another 18-year-old, defender Ben Wilmot from Stevenage, again undisclosed figure. One of the players that have left the club is forward Richarlison for £40 million. Cherries fans will remember him for his red card at Dean Court when Everton visited in August.

This season Watford have had a good start to their fourth Premier League season since coming up as runners up from the Championship to the Champions, AFC Bournemouth. Watford won their opening three Premier League games. First game of the season they were home to Brighton, Watford won 2-0. Their next game was away to Burnley, the Hornets came away with all 3 points in a 1-3 victory. Watford’s third game was home to Crystal Palace who visited Dean Court on Monday evening, the result was the same as the Cherries game, with Watford beating Palace 2-1. Now into September with Watford again at home and so far unbeaten, Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) were the visitors, Watford won 2-1. For the third match in a row at Vicarage Road, it was the turn of Manchester United to visit, this time Watford’s unbeaten run came to an end, United beating them 1-2. Watford then made the short trip to Craven Cottage to play newcomers Fulham, it ended in a 1-1 draw, the Hornets first draw of the season. A week later Watford were back in London, this time to face Arsenal, Watford suffered their first away defeat of the season going down 2-0. It was Watford’s first away defeat this season. Going into the game against AFCB this weekend, Watford are in 6th position and the Cherries in 7th, both sides on 13 points.

In our league games against Watford at Vicarage Road in the Premier League, all three games have ended in draws. 2015-16, it ended 0-0, 2016-17, 2-2 and last season it also ended in a 2-2 draw.
If you were a betting person, you would probably have this down for another draw and it would be Watford’s first draw at home this season and the Cherries first away.

In all our league games at Watford, AFCB have Won 13, Drawn 14 and Lost 24. All competitions, AFCB have Won 37, Drawn 37 and Lost 39.

Watford Team News
Gerard Deulofeu who has suffered with injuries, could play some part on Saturday. Other players who have been or are out injured are Sebastian Prodl with a knock, Stefano Okaka also with a knock, both players back training with the team. Daryl Janmaat knee injury, Miguel Britos thigh strain and Tom Cleverley Achilles injury.

Watford Player To Watch
Troy Deeney has lost just over a stone in weight since last season. He is a fitter and stronger, the player has helped Watford have a good start to the season. He has scored 2 goals and 1 assist to his name. Been a very consistent player for them this season and according to reports has been playing with broken toes.

AFCB Team News
Charlie Daniels played 90 minutes for the under 21’s after being out through injury, Kyle Taylor also played after being out injured. Otherwise it looks like Eddie’s team have a clean bill of health.

AFCB Player To Watch
Junior Stanislas, after two substitute appearances against both Burnley and Crystal Palace, he played 69 minutes against Blackburn Rovers in the League Cup. Before his injury last season at Watford where he only played 45 minutes, he had scored in his two previous games. They were both at home against West Brom and Spurs. In his last two games since his return, he has scored in both, in the cup and PL (penalty). Think Eddie might play him against Watford, he is good at free-kicks just outside the box and an important player for our team.

It’s matchday eight in the Premier League (PL), where Watford (seventh) welcome Bournemouth (eighth) to Vicarage Road. Tied on thirteen points so far, the arrows are pointing in different directions for these evenly matched teams who’ve drawn seven of the last nine H2Hs.Watford are without a win in three PL games after winning the first four of the season. The team has failed to keep a clean sheet in five-straight games (all competitions). However, Vicarage Road continues to offer confidence, as they’ve lost just two of the last thirteen matches here (W8, D3, L2 - all competitions).Strong finishers, they key behind Watford’s four PL wins so far is arguably their second-half strength, with seven of their nine goals in those matches coming after the break.Scoring and conceding galore, Bournemouth (W3, D1, L2) have three wins in their last four (all competitions. The team have offered plenty of entertainment so far, with their matches seeing the joint-highest total goals average (3.4) in the league.Defensively, however, the team continues to look shaky. Just three teams conceded more goals last season, and just four teams have let in more than Bournemouth this season - they’ve conceded 2+ goals in four of seven PL games.Players to watch: Andre Gray (WAT) has two goals in his last three PL matches, while winger Ryan Fraser is top scorer for ‘The Cherries’ with three goals so far.Stat attack: There’s been an average of 4.0 yellow cards from Watford's seven PL matches so far, with the aptly called ‘Hornets’ being shown 2+ yellow in six of their seven matches.Watford matches have seen 11.6 corners on average this season, with four in a row ending in 12 corners or more.Sixty-eight percent (WAT) and 67% (BOU) of the goals in these teams matches come after the break.Bournemouth have scored 2+ goals in eight of their last ten games (all competitions).

Although Watford are up there with us....it's we who get plaudits for our exciting football and presence. Not them! ...forgive them for being jealous. We are tough..we are Muff!
Fair play to Watford if they see us as Rivals...and not just a 'Nuisance across the Forest'! Kind of Refreshing!

I'd like to see Brooks at 10 and Stan right for this one. Not sure who drops out of King or Wilson in that scenario though.
Got to be King, as much as i love him, because he seems like he never passes the ball. He did it multiple times against Palace where i thought if he did pass we would have had the opportunity to create a chance.

I would take a draw for this one. However, i don't think we are that good away from home so unfortunately i'm going to have to say 2-1 to watford.
