Wilson in the England Squad.

Beyond the initial excitement and being proud and pleased for Callum I don't think it's worth any more than just that. The football played at England games, in particular friendlies is virtually forgotten next day and the general standard about that of Div 1.... It's all about one thing.....avoiding injury...full stop! Complete and utter waste of time!
Surely, surely people can see this now ..despite the efforts of Southgate to rack it up. The commentators are interested only in whoever the current ' darling of the press ' is. At present that is Kane! This time a Cameo of Rooney will interrupt that. The performances of most of the defenders won't even get a mention in the majority of the papers. Only if Callum scores will he get in print!
Nothing like a few truths and a Ray of Sunshine on a cold November Friday morning!

Bill, the Croatia game isn't a friendly, it's part of the Nations League so should be a good match.
I thought this was a separate friendly for Rooney...??? Am I losing it big style or what?
If it's a Nations League game then I'm more happy for Callum...thanks for putting me right!
I'm now even more confused though....Rooney retired from England.?

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat the faaaaaaak is going on ?

On November 15, England plays USA. It's a friendly.
On November 18, England plays Croatia. It's a competitive match in the Nations League.
Both matches are at Wembley.
Good chance Wilson will appear in one of these I would think.

Can I make a suggestion to the hardy souls heading up north tomorrow? How about a nice send off to our latest international call up with a rendition of Callum Wilson England’s goal machine.
I am sure Callum will get a big cheer from our supporters, they will let him know we are backing him. They will be proud to see a Bournemouth player flying the AFCB flag on International duty at Wembley.
Its all up to Southgate now to give him a chance.

Have you got a source for that Al, I recall it being a pretty convoluted transfer, Rocky Allsopp, Josh McQuid, and Mo Coulubaly going the other way for a while, but let's be honest it's not often you see caps clauses when buying LG1 players. Seems hilariously prescient from Coventry

100%....But hang on..It says "If he plays for England", and he hasn't yet.
InFACT, anyone who has supported AFCB since we signed him will know this.

I only rocked up for the Premier League. I don't believe football exists beyond the Premier League and will swiftly disappear if we ever go down.
