Can't wait until next season.

The way it started, I thought we would be pushing 6th all the way. Now, with all the injuries and the terrible run of form, I just can't wait for it to end and have a fully fit squad.

Every threat is an opportunity. We won’t get relegated, and it may be tougher than we thought, but we will see new players establish themselves, hopefully will resist any departures more in the transfer window, use different formations and strategies. Nothing to be scared of...just different.
Good fresh angle....more from you please!

Hang in there Carl...I feel the same in a way...but there is plenty of excitement to come...WW3 with Watford...NewSuperSaints at Home...5-0 to us in the return with Spurs...come on!

Just a thought....it would be easy to think now of complete capitulation...it happens..as with Sunderland..but NO;

With Franno out for the season as it looks.....New leaders WILL emerge...Eddie by nature of his own history will encourage and demand it even? I'm sure of it...he is a thinker is Eddie..he must be to have got this far!

I think we will go down next season. The Championship is a better league than the bottom half of the prem.Would be great to know who actually owns us now and what the plans are for the future. We are such a secret society that it's painful. See who goes and stays in January and if anyone in the club gives us an idea of the plans for the future!

WFT?!

Blimey.....we saw plenty of posts saying the exact same thing last season you realise? Worried that Wolves especially would rip everyone a new one.....then when Fulham spent 100m+, they would rip everyone a new one as well. Think its been said every year we are up here, yet we have not been in serious relegation trouble in reality since we got here.

I can be as pessimistic as anyone due to years of seeing poor teams in the past....but suggesting relegation 18 months in advance is taking it to a new level!

Really ? The championship is great when you're sweeping everyone aside like we did before but there's no guarantees, we could just as easily drop straight through it.
Have I missed something ? Thought Max still owned the majority of the club last time I looked,
Lighten up mate ! :)

Great answers. I still think the fans would like a bit more info from above tho don't you? Is Eddie gonna get pissed off with lack of ambition?

They would, he might -
but we dont need to press the panic button just yet,
Strengthen and regroup in January and I'm confident we'll kick on and get the points needed for another epl season.
As long as he's backed with enough funds in the close season he can continue to rebuild the squad, thats the challenge and one that I think he'd like to be taking on

I think Old Rattle has a point..albeit from a worriers angle..but I think Eddie has just got his jaw thrust forward and is just getting on with his job as he has always done...who knows what he knows...it must be more than what we know?

I ain't worried Bill. I really don't give a flying what league we are in. It seams a shame after all the **************** the club has been through and the amount the fans have given back that with all the money we have have now.Breath. There is no news of further advancement.4 kids live by me and their dad's can't take them to watch Afcb. They all got the kits.Their Dads didn't get the Man u. Chelski or arsenal shirts for Xmas.

Re this tough period the team is going through, I am not sure there are too many surprises:

1. The fixture list looked really daunting Nov-Dec
2. Always expected heavy defeats vs Man City spurs and Liverpool
3. Always felt winning home games with brighton and Huddersfield was vital
4. Was hopeful of points at Newcastle and wolves but knew it would be tough if they got the first goal
5. Given the crazy fixture list always expected injuries would happen
6. Thought we should be aiming at trying to be best of the rest and we are 2 points off 7th at the half way mark.
7. Hopes we could reach at least league cup quarter final but needed luck to progress if we played a top side.

All the above has happened so not sure why fans should be that down. Been unlucky with the duplication of positions where injuries have struck and a few games we have not had the luck of the bounce but we will get things going our way again in the second half of the season ........ so bring it on!
