Newcastle jealous of us.

It is a bad look for them. I can't believe that Rafa would have taken that job without some assurances that purse-strings would be loosened. That article singles out AFCB, but I'm sure that they feel the same about Wolves and Fulham, who have also spent freely.

An excellent article, and one that highlights how lucky we've been with our owner. I find it hard to believe that Ashley is still hanging on and still holding out for an apparently unrealistic price; if they do get relegated, his asset will be worth a lot less money.

The difference was brought home to me the other day when the Sky Sports News analyst, when questioned about the potential Wilson transfer, said "Bournemouth are a well-run club, they don't need to sell Wilson now, even for £50m". My mind is still boggling....

The Toon fans buy season tickets and all the replica kits from the man they despise, they deserve what they get.

I wonder where the two clubs will be in 10 years time when eddie has gone and max has got fed up, if he hasn't already.

It's also interesting they keep mentioning the word ambition in the comments. Don't 14 of the clubs all share the same ambition of simply staying in the league and everybody just does what they feel necessary to achieve that?

We get grief from several other clubs who all think they are miles more massive than us for spending even a penny.....I have found in general, Newcastle fans don't seem to have any issues with us though? They just see their own club not trying to keep up even with a smaller club such as ours.

Maybe that there is also other Russian money involved Ponmarov, Panmaderov, something like that, I forget
