Swansea City v AFC Bournemouth - 4 Games To Go

The Forest game was previously selected by Sky. Swansea is a rearranged Saturday game so not part of the red button contract.

Says Tuesday evening game on websites, including this or was it a rearranged game originally?

The Swans were set to host the Cherries on Tuesday night, but damage caused to the Swansea.com Stadium by recent adverse weather conditions put the fixture under threat.

I would say the goal is to retain a 7 point gap to Forest. So a win for us and a draw for them will get us back there. We can then match their results and if we can maintain that 7 point gap then our game against them will be meaningless.

Funny how both us and notts forest have Fulham and then Swansea in reverse order before meeting.

It’s ok to match forest result but Swansea are the lowest ranked team we face in the rest of the run in and imho we need to put pressure on notts rather than giving oxygen to their hopes of catching us.

Swansea are ranked the lowest but on current form Blackburn haven't won in the last 5. They play in the big local derby tonight against Preston. If they lose that it virtually finishes any play off hopes they may have.

We can’t let Forest better our result tomorrow night, disastrous if they do. This is the pivotal round of fixtures during the season. If they win at Fulham and we lose at Swansea then all of a sudden they are in the driving seat. If we beat Swansea and they lose then we are only one win away.

My feeling is that they win at Fulham and we draw at Swansea but let’s hope that it transpires the other way round!

More than happy if this feeling of yours turns out to be the same as those you had for West Brom and Sheff U to be dead certs for the top two.

Yes that’s true. If they do better our result tomorrow then we can’t really complain at missing out to be honest.
Our last minute equaliser was so massive, means Fulham will be well up for the game.
Still think if they're relying on surridge in 4 gamed then they'll struggle

Surridge has been playing very well for them, he has scored in his last 2 and they rate him very highly. I didn’t think he had it in him tbh but Cooper seems to have gotten it out of him. He seems to be the kind of manager who is able to make decent players (who have been written off by others) look good. Reminds me very much of Eddie. No coincidence that players like Surridge, Spence and Yates look totally transformed under him.

A lot tougher for surridge tomorrow up against Fulhams defence.

certainly look as though Blackburn haven’t given up based on current score

as for Swansea - been on a recent run but now not won in last 3 games including 2 home draws. Failed to beat Reading and Barnsley. No game is easy in champ and Swansea will give us a hard game but this has to be 3 points for me. Not mathematically but is the one game that stands out.

Give them an extra cheer for me, not been able to see much live football this season due to my cancer issues (under control but weariness is a big issue) just clocked up 70 years as a solid supporter so hoping l can be there to see them make the premiership.

Good to see you post again, think but could be wrong you started watching the Cherries before most of us on this forum.

Keep your chin up and hope you can make it to see our team get into the top league for the second time in our history.
