AFC Bournemouth v Wolves

I’d need to see the match again from a different position but from where I was he seemed to have quite a lot of the ball but was easily dispossesed each time. Hopefully just rusty but after watching him for the 2 seasons before last I hope it’s not deja vu.
He was dropping deep to get the ball fairly regularly, but we very rarely got the ball to him in dangerous areas. The two times we did he actually got shots away despite the defender being favourite to win the ball on each occasion.

Strikers seem to often be the hardest to adapt to the prem. It’s quite a jump in terms of quality and you don’t get much change from defenders so chances can be scarce. You have to be pretty ruthless as u may only get 1 chance a game. I don’t think dom is prem quality and won’t score many but I’ll be happy to be proved wrong.

It’s not overly critical. It’s a very valid observation. We haven’t scored a single goal from open play in 5 games and haven’t looked like doing so. Transitional period or not, we desperately need to recruit in the attacking areas tomorrow.

We might need one or two but mostly we need someone to work out how to get the best out of what we've got. The squad isn't anywhere near as bad as you and Scott Parker would like people to believe.

Wolves are bottom of the table...because they are not a good football team....that's the bottom line.

And we scrapes a point off them...tsk tsk !

Five games in

14% in to the season

Bit early to say they’re not a good football team

Fell into conversation with a group of Wolves fans exiting the stadium tonight- big mistake. Never met such a bunch of self- opinionated jerks with a misguided sense of entitlement! And I thought Man Ure fans were bad? Mind you, they are too.
Since the 2-1 win in the Champ season 2014-15 I’ve thought they are a bunch of cunts, that was an evil walk back to the station, particularly the first 200 yards from the ground. That was an atmosphere and threat I’d not felt for years

Their team looked pretty hopeless in front of goal, at times I thought we should just stand back and let them have a shot, just to conserve some energy.
Never really felt that they would score. The chances they had, they fluffed. I can see them struggling this season if this is the best they can do.
We still have a ton of room for improvement but I’m guessing that this was them at their best ?

They were prob just jealous as they have the worst accent in the UK and who would want to live in or around Brum

I remember what they did to that poor innocent Watford fan, a milkman with a small child I think, he spent a long time in a coma after a beating when all he was doing was walking back to the station and was set upon. He never fully recovered.

Similar to forest and Leicester

Wolves are strong defensively so tonight was a tough test. We had some promising attacks without really looking like scoring. We do need a rothwell or brooks in the team for creativity.

Above all though delighted with the effort and fight shown by the players; an important statement by the players on the pitch plus the support of fans off it.

If we can get a result at forest the situation for afcb would look less bleak than after liverpool .

Basically...last night's result was a disaster.. .
. .we should of expected the team to tear into Wolves like madmen possessed with the Devil after what happened at Anfield... but No, once again the Fear Football was in evidence.

I think it was much more important not to lose, and perhaps that was evident in some of our play.

A draw and clean sheet will give the players some confidence for Saturday.
