Dango Ouattara

It warms the cockles of my heart to see us still declared tinpot with such passion. The desperation of the 'no history' comment is like delicious seasoning.

Interesting, thinking back to the last time we had two wins, they were against a team up in Liverpool that play in blue.

Think also have a nickname called the toffees.

So it’s good a ‘tin pot club’ can still beat someone. ;)

This is superb ok we have never won anything, tinpot and proud.

But let it be said the last time Neverton won anything Jesus was in short trousers.

I saw what I thought was a good Jesus joke today.

Jesus rings his local Italian restaurant and asks if he can book a table for 26 on Thursday. The owner pulls a face and says that could be difficult. “In any case” he adds “I thought there were only 13 of you?”. “Well yes” Jesus replies “but we all want to sit on the same side of the table”.

But sadly it seems to me without a better manager and coaching staff the current problems / failure to control games are just going to continue, no matter how many players we buy.

I think we big up the importance of coaches for teams trying to stay up. Sure, to outwit Real Madrid or Man City small tactical tweaks can sway a tight game. But staying up requires organisational ability, decent defence and options in attack, especially with pace, to overcome teams like west ham saints and wolves.

GON is good enough to do this but relying on christie and Anthony as wingers is a tough ask while kieffer isn’t a reliable option for our patient (slow) build up. While fans hold up dembele as the saviour, the truth is he ain’t.

Imho we need new faces and the fans to get behind the players and that will be good enough.

Get the injured players back and the team would be different.
Big clubs have big players to come in, we don't.

Genuinely believe the absence of tavernier to add a bit of dribbling creativity plus stability of Neto has been a major factor. Neto already had an impact while tavernier possibly due back this weekend according to prem injuries

Sadly I think that assessment is true but I really believe we have overlooked a real gem of a player under our noses with Siriki.

Fair enough, he did inject life for sure v Brentford (for 3 minutes before being marked out the game...), but honestly he isn't PL quality, despite looking exciting, quick, 'livewire'. As genuine PL potential/ability players arrive this month and in the summer, he'll be moved onto his true level... Championship, perhaps Turkey or maybe even a crazy Saudi league club owner will offer him 75k a week to take him out there...

He's like the equivilient of say Bartley or Zubar, all action, lively, quick etc but simply doesn't have enough ability, football intelligence to make it above a certain level.

We are up the street without a paddle.

Dango can do the fandango with headers from a corner for fcks sake.

When was the last time we scored from a corner, or even beat the first man.

I think we need to sign a dead ball specialist who can take a set piece.

Jonny wilkinson could be incoming just for the dead balls.

Sub him on, sub him off, just like Grid Iron.

This is why those evil Yanks are trying to take over soccer.

You seem to have a real disbelief in Dembele, I don't share your absolute certainty that he's not good enough. He has not been given enough of a chance but every time he's had a chance he's not let anyone down.
