It warms the cockles of my heart to see us still declared tinpot with such passion. The desperation of the 'no history' comment is like delicious seasoning.

But sadly it seems to me without a better manager and coaching staff the current problems / failure to control games are just going to continue, no matter how many players we buy.would it not have been cheaper to take the whole Lorient team, or is foley going to buy another team if we want there players?

The 5 sub rule is a joke, most clubs use it to break up the rhythm of the game with 3 mins to play.but least we will have some good players to bring on with 10mins to go
Associate Members Cup I think.Did we not win the fright rover trophy?

Get the injured players back and the team would be different.I think we big up the importance of coaches for teams trying to stay up. Sure, to outwit Real Madrid or Man City small tactical tweaks can sway a tight game. But staying up requires organisational ability, decent defence and options in attack, especially with pace, to overcome teams like west ham saints and wolves.
GON is good enough to do this but relying on christie and Anthony as wingers is a tough ask while kieffer isn’t a reliable option for our patient (slow) build up. While fans hold up dembele as the saviour, the truth is he ain’t.
Imho we need new faces and the fans to get behind the players and that will be good enough.
Genuinely believe the absence of tavernier to add a bit of dribbling creativity plus stability of Neto has been a major factor. Neto already had an impact while tavernier possibly due back this weekend according to prem injuriesGet the injured players back and the team would be different.
Big clubs have big players to come in, we don't.
Sadly I think that assessment is true but I really believe we have overlooked a real gem of a player under our noses with Siriki.
Blimey son of Waz speaks !!Fair enough, he did inject life for sure v Brentford (for 3 minutes before being marked out the game...), but honestly he isn't PL quality, despite looking exciting, quick, 'livewire'. As genuine PL potential/ability players arrive this month and in the summer, he'll be moved onto his true level... Championship, perhaps Turkey or maybe even a crazy Saudi league club owner will offer him 75k a week to take him out there...
He's like the equivilient of say Bartley or Zubar, all action, lively, quick etc but simply doesn't have enough ability, football intelligence to make it above a certain level.

Let's hope that's the only think Waz holds of yours.
It wasn't so much your views on Dembele, but they were facts , not your opinionHis boyfriend actually...
Funny enough Waz holds totally opposite view re Dembele to me
You seem to have a real disbelief in Dembele, I don't share your absolute certainty that he's not good enough. He has not been given enough of a chance but every time he's had a chance he's not let anyone down.Fair enough, he did inject life for sure v Brentford (for 3 minutes before being marked out the game...), but honestly he isn't PL quality, despite looking exciting, quick, 'livewire'.
