“AFCB’s Black Friday Deals”

I'm glad I wasn't the only one to be massively underwhelmed when I received this spectacular offer.

It's very generous of them, it really is.

Spend a sh*t ton of money in the store and you'll get a gift card which then means that you ( or some other poor sucker ) have to spend more money in the store to make use of it.

While they're at it, why don't they offer us some of those "magic" beans they have there ?

If we're as gullible as they must think we are, we could well be tempted !
( Yes it's pantomime season - "Behiiiiiiiiiind you !!!!" :p )

They have received a tonne of sh*t on social media over this... and justifiably so... If they were not sure how to read the situation in a UK Black Friday market, it wouldn't have taken to have look at what other clubs are maybe doing, or have done in the past...

I mean, it's a laughable offer but does the lack of a discount really amount to treating fans with 'contempt'? Detestable? Are we owed cheap tat from the club? Just look at the price of something and decide if you want to buy it.

Just don’t market it as a Black Friday deal.

New email this morning says some graphic t shirts for £5 but in store only. Odd to email at 09:00 on the day if the offer, almost like it was an afterthought……..

The club is getting more bizarre by the week...I'm starting to think I don't want to identify with it...until these people bugger off.

It seems they have identified the Support as predominantly, sedentary middle - class and not affected greatly by the 'cost of living' pandemic...and therefore apt to spend indiscriminately.. .f√ck me Batman...how bad is this ?

But...but If not too many of you lot up there in BH postcode terri 'Tory' are bothered by this...ok then that means their market research is on the mark....and I can be directed to choke on my pasty two degrees further south in non - league land. ..our local club couldn't even afford to produce a single - sheet programme last Saturday but ..we got an apology...and no increase in the prices in the tea -shack...or mention of 'Black Friday' ...'deals'
Liskeard FC, although destined to win it's league title this season have already refused promotion to the Western League because it can't afford the extra travel and wages...but it still remains courteous to and undemanding of it's fans .

Always something to moan at the yanks about it seems.
As long as they keep us in the Prem’. Finish the training ground and build a new stadium,
I‘ll be happy to go without a current shirt or whatever.
Who would have thought any of the above a dozen years ago?
