Crystal Palace v AFC Bournemouth - Wednesday 7.30 pm

It would depend on when Palace last played i.e. did they play on Sunday? If not they would just that little bit fresher than ourselves. Secondly, we played on Sunday with less time to recover and then we have to travel etc.

As stated we are away from home with Aarrons, Kelly and possibly Kerkez all injured. Our defence will be disjointed. Hence, why I believe we will get turned over.
Well good news on that front Minty Palace will be just as knackered as us!.....
How do you feel palace missing their two best player's will affect them btw?

It may well effect them. But one has to take into account that they are at home and so, playing at home will make them feel more comfortable as it would us. It would help if their defensive players were also out, but I don't think they are. We are at a distinct disadvantage here.

No, "one" doesn't have to. You, however do.

You're a troll. Please keep with the doom and gloom. I dread the day you predict a win for us.
In which case, you feel that even though our recovery time is short since playing Villa, you do not believe this will have an effect. Nor do you believe that even though we are playing away from home with Aarrons, Kelly and possibly Kerkez missing it will not have an effect at all. Palace will be sharper as they have had an extra days rest since their last game.

We've been playing really well the last few games, making far more chances than the score lines suggest.
A win would be great but just playing good exciting footie will do for me.

If a few players are ill some others might get a chance, we're a little stretched at the back but otherwise players will be chomping at the bit if there's a first team space going you'd hope.

So despite the fact that at least two posters have already pointed out that Palace played at exactly the same time as us on the same day you continue to post the same clueless lie.

Yet again, proven to be a troll with nothing useful to add to the subject - unless of course you're a fan of reading someone copying and pasting the same rubbish repeatedly while not knowing what day it is/was.

Ok so they did play on the same day, my mistake. However, they are at home and did not have to travel etc. So they will have the edge.

After our last two visits - at least it's physically impossible to be even worse.

That pathetic display in April will always be GON's parting gift in my head.

No. I actually do my research which is that their recovery time is the same as ours. Kerkez isn't confirmed as missing. An away trip to Palace is about 4 hours' drive.

You're an uninformed, negative and clueless troll. I stopped taking anything you say seriously a long, long time ago, but still find it amusing that you manage to tie yourself in knots making an idiot of yourself week in, week out. Please just keep doing what you do. If you keep predicting our demise every week you will eventually be correct and I hope it fills you with joy.

To compound our problems with injuries to key defensive players, it has now been reported in the Echo that there are two players suffers from colds etc ahead of the game. Can you not see that we are very likely to get turned over.

Oh just fukc off
Obviously you are turning a blind eye to the problems we are facing here. You are obviously a fully payed up member of the Starry Eyed Rose Tinted Spectacle Brigade who fails to see the reality of our situation.

The problems we now face prior to facing Palace are:

1. Kelly and Aarrons are injured (two defensive players)
2. There is a distinct possibility that Kerkez will also be out (another defensive player).
3. It has been reported in the Echo that there is an illness sweeping the club.
4. We will be suffering from tiredness from the quick turn around after the Villa game.
5. We are away from home.

So with that said, do you still think we will get anything from the Palace game?

If you do, I can only politely suggest that you may be living in another world.

If you are going to be honest with us and yourself, then you cannot cherry pick your arguments. In the exact same article you use for #3, it also says this:

Asked if any players picked up knocks against Villa which will keep them out of the trip to Selhurst Park, head coach Iraola said: “No injuries.

This invalidates your #2. You can either take the article entirely at face value, or you can make stuff up.

Just had a quick look at the odds:

Palace win - 44.4%
AFCB win - 28.6%
Draw - 29.4%

Yes, I know it adds up to more than 100 - I have no clue how that works!

But even so, the percentages feel about right to me given it is an away game. We certainly have a good chance of getting something out of the game, but it wouldn't be a shock if we lost.

It’s 2 1/2 hours drive (unless m25 accident) but maybe they fly up….plus they stay in a hotel so plenty of time for rest.
