Manchester United v AFC Bournemouth

For me personally it's probably the best away performance/result I've seen live.

The 3-0 at Chelsea is an obvious contender. Others that stand out are the 5-0 at Brighton, 4-0 (I think) at Watford, 3-1 at Newcastle and 4-2 at West Ham. Of these only Chelsea were comparable in terms of size and stature. So definitely top 2 in my opinion

Yeah, us delivering a 3 nil at somewhere like Old Trafford in a league game is/was almost unthinkable. Magnitude/gravity of it happening there is another level to most of our other remarkable results/performances.

Could very well be one of those once in a lifetime events for the club.

We are 13th, but on the same points as Chelsea who are 10th, and our GD is now -9. Next 3 games are Luton, Forest, Fulham….keep the foot on the gas and we could be easily top half
I backed us for top ten in the summer at 8/1, and doubled down just before the Palace game at 20/1.

We have dropped to 7/1 now.

If we can just get past this six pointer against Luton.....

What a day. I have waited all my life for this and it was brilliant to be there. We were fantastic and it could have been five or six. We just kept Utd away from our goal for most of the game and outplayed them. Well done Andoni and the lads. I'm so pleased for you all. Great away support.

Interesting cock up on the Match of the Day team line up. They had Hill in our back four rather than Zabarnyi!

It's headline catching alright no matter who does it but for a club of our size / stature and squad it's absolutely incredible as was the performance. If city or Liverpool did it the press would be crowing from the rooftop about their attributes but a quick look around and the attention really is still on manu, their manager, their frailties, the fact it followed that performance against Chelsea. That will never change, they will always be the story.

As you say once in a lifetime probably, I still feel a bit numb. You then get these thoughts in your head, can we hang onto AI, what if Cook or Christie get Injured, can we keep up this pace and press or will oppo managers suss us out. On this kind of form we could kind of go places I don't think we could imagine so I won't say it. I guess its one step at a time, so Luton next and that won't be easy so I'm staying grounded and will just hopefully enjoy the game.

Good times though.

Yes indeed.

Luton poses a different kind of test. As in they'll be considered underdogs... and we certainly have the superior team qualitywise. But unlike Sheff Utd, Luton seem to have more self belief and a better instilled plan, so we too have to show the mental side to our game, as I think it will be a tougher test than Sheff U.

A win at Luton will demonstrate just how far we have come this past month or so. We 'should' win, but we'll need to be fully focused as they will certainly be up for it and looking at it as one of their best chances to get some points.

They'll certainly be taking us extremely seriously though, given Old Trafford and the games prior to that.

Regarding the worry about players staying fit every game we win and nobody gets injured is a double bonus as we edge towards the return of Aaron’s, Kelly and Scott. I’m not sure anyone of them would start it fit on current players form but the back up they offer for rotation is the key

isn't this now commonplace in the brave new world of social media?
no longer can you just watch something, you have to film yourself doing so that others can share your experience

totally bizarre

Yeah. Never had the slightest interest in watching some self-proclaimed uber, over dramatic fan filming themselves getting over excitable watching/passing their views on a game.

I loved the ' You've seen the Bournemouth, now fu ck off home'

Didn't go but kudos to those that did, all you could hear throughout the game
It's an absolute crying shame that a large percentage of the younger supporters can't congregate together in Dean Court.
That would be my wish for a new ground, that they can create a fantastic atmosphere together. As we are at the moment things are fragmented with the younger supporters dotted around the place if they can get in at all.

It's good to know they're on the way back, as you rotation is key. Palace second half I thought sign of tiredness were coming through. Amazed at the way we recovered for yesterday, also Billing coming on almost as an impact sub in other words much more direct as he did yesterday. The pleasing thing is he seems to have taken it alright, I thought he might have had a strop at being benched the last few games.

Not forgetting the 8-0 at Brum.

Yes, we have some great options to come off the bench to rotate/rest/make an impact with the three behind Dom.

I was concerned we may see a half hearted PB since he was 'dropped', but he seems focused and buying into the cause, which is great to see.
