Nottingham Forest v AFC Bournemouth

The sort of game we may have even lost under O'Neil.

He would have had us camping behind the ball at 2-1 up.

When they score and make it 2-2 I believe we could have gone on to lose under Gary.

The great thing about Andoni is that he will never sit back to secure a result.

It's anti football, and I'd rather lose a game trying for a winner than sit deep trying to take a point.

Fortune favours the brave.
It’s not just anti football, it’s utter chaos. Nobody can beat us when we play with such madness. Bring it on!

Player on a yellow card should not go chasing into tackles near the half way line than his own goal line.
Getting the ball first is not a mitigation in rule 12.

Need to be shopping for a keeper who commands the six yard box.

Any away win is hard earned so a good day at the office for the manager and players

100% a loss under GON that. We’d have been sat in our half with five at the back hoofing it anywhere for the last fifteen.

Same result last year and this year albeit this year we had another £100m signings and had a man more. Got away with a penalty decision but last season didn’t.

Small margins. I thought at 2-2 I feared that forest would snatch the win as our substitutions removed the control we had in defensive midfield and we looked imbalanced.

Could just as easily point to the 3-2 win at spurs to disprove your negativity

Great to see some of the lads from the third and fourth division days today. Nigel Phil and their gang, great stuff

I honestly couldnt give a toss how upset Forest fans are tonight. They were happy to take the penalty against Kelly last year. Bet they didnt ring Talksport up about that one? Mistakes happen, weve had more than our fair share and clear ones at that.

Can I clear something up for all the people commenting on social media.. IT WAS NOT A RED CARD TACKLE!!!! He got a yellow for the tackle. Which with the way he refed today was consistent. But the amount of people .. "How on earth is it a red for that tackle??!?" Almost like they have only just started watching the game or something.

Very very happy tonight. Brilliant.

Thumbs up from me. Hope the twats choke on it.

Your binary worlds don’t exist not matter how hard you deliberately select which data points you use. Could just as easily point to the 3-2 win at spurs to disprove your negativity
Or the 2-3 @ home to Spurs, followed by the 4-3 @ Leeds, the following week, or the 3-2 @ Arsenal, or the last 4 games of the season.

Or perhaps we could ask Wolves fans what they think, trust me most of them are repeating what we were saying last year.

I know you liked GON and always stick up for him, and he did do pretty well, but God it was tedious.

In fact it was like today the other way round. Forest had 32% possession, reminded me of us all last season.

We play further forward and suddenly Solanke scores more goals.

Iraola is a massive upgrade on GON.

Iraola is an upgrade on GON. Agreed. Don’t forget GON’s previous managerial experience was his son’s under 9 teams. So not in question given the team now get AI’s tactics.

It’s lack of balance in the comments. Some of the myopic examples on GON remain remarkably selective in the facts, as ever. Especially by some posters.

Some games tedious (esp with solanke and tav injured, funny that) but many enjoyable. I don’t see the world as black/white as some clearly do.

So, i stand up for my opinions and that includes seeing why GON was replaced in the summer unlike the OTT knee-jerk comments from experts like lineker.

Just find it bizarre after an enjoyable win why some posters put the boot in GON with total bullshit comments

Only downsides were, only one accessible loo for a stand twice the size of one of ours. We missed the first goal, the young lady after us missed our equaliser as well.

Also got hit by a coin when our second went in.

But "Baldy Baldy what's the score? " seemed to ease the pain : )
At least you got coinage. My son got a Crunchy bar!!!

As Neil said a cracking game awaiting MOTD for clarification of the yellows but did Forest only have 10 men on the pitch after the red card? All the plaudits will go to Dom Solanke for his 3 goals but Tavanier and Christie for work rate were brilliant. NIce cameo from Rodwell to calm things down in midfield.

Over half way to the holy grail of 40 points.
I believe 30 points will be enough to survive this season.

Just looking at the Matchweek 18 positions per transfermarket.com. Of all the seasons in the PL this is the second highest points total after 18/19 when we were on 26 points, although we had played 18 games.

Good to see Alex Scott on the pitch.

It wasn't his best game by any means, but I think the mental hurdle for him was to not get injured, which he achieved.

Football is quite a mental/confidence based game, as we have learnt, and seen in our recent results. A complete turnaround, by largely the same set of players.

Really glad to see that Scott got through the 70 or so minutes he was on the pitch, despite having quite a quiet game.

Nice corners though.

Certainly weren't anywhere near 100 per cent, but a well ground out result, and another massive confidence boost for the team.

Credit to MOTD. Top game and main credit was to Dom. Ref blunders secondary. Cannot wait for Boxing Day. How long can we keep up this magnificent run? All this with a patched up team and grounded upon away wins! Happy, happy days!
Think forest crowd were fired up by the red card and that helped the team. Quiet before then

Don't think anyone's putting the boot in, they are just comparing the tactics.

GON would have 100 per cent tried to sit on the lead.

It's a negative tactic though, and almost tells the players we are lucky to get our noses in front.... so let's defend that narrow lead.

It's counterproductive and a negative message to the players, and it rarely paid off.

Wolves will be right down in the mire come May, and we most likely will be MI table or above.

Gary was great for us at the time, but the club did the right thing and moved on from the negative football.

Football is entertainment, and Gary wasn't doing much entertaining.

I am surprised you think that low.

I am not convinced the 3 promoted teams will finish in the bottom three.

Luton have the best chance and post the unfortunate events of last week are even more fired up.
Really hope Luton do stay up and not just because of the incident last week.

They beat a damaged Newcastle today and a brilliant result for them.

It's quite an open league this year, and I can see Fulham and Wolves really getting sucked into it...IF the current bottom 3 clubs put a little run of 2 or 3 wins together.
