Ooh are ya..ooh are ya ?

Teddy McDougals watching....Teddy McDougals waiting !
Tra la la ..la la la lah....tra la la la la la la la la !

You what..you what..you what you cockin' what ?

Life is Good.

Not as slow as ours .we've let in 60 !

Without Maguire they would have let in far more !

Same with Brighton and Dunk.
Dunk saved his Gulls from conceding 5 or 6 yesterday.
did you watch the match? as on tv maybe he seemed to play better then at the stadium, against a bigger team he might of given away a few pens he was lucky it was against us he made those mistakes

I saw the match on a U-Tube stream which was a bit scrappy but clear enough and highlights on MoTD...and I agree up to a point that he and Maguire make mistakes...but no more than most...but thick prats cant see any meritocracy in their attributes because they follow the sheep in the media...and idiot fans of the likes of Manu and Spurs etc.
But these players seem to get into England squads ahead of ours.
And..Ive got my wind - up head on this Morno....
..plus alternating with carving up Faeces Book where I'm absolutely loathed around the Nation... collecting multiple bans over the last few years, which i regard as 'badges of honour'.

I don't think being called up for a Southgate squad is all that he has proven he doesn't pick players in form, if he looked good on the stream then he probably played better then what i saw as in the ground you tend to follow the ball but on tv you take in the whole screen

You only saw it in your dreams. #152 you were baffled by the radio commentary

The knives are out for De Zerbi. I was under the impression he was popular at Brighton. Clearly not.

I know a lot of you are not fans of motd, however here are some interesting stats posted on last night's show.
This shows how far we have come in a very short space of time. With stats like this I think we may have trouble keeping this manager with the likes of Man utd and Chelsea needing someone better!Screenshot_20240429-180217_BBC iPlayer.jpgScreenshot_20240429-180210_BBC iPlayer.jpg

Excellent team performance, about the only two blemishes are Semenyo---YO's injury. At the moment I think the best case scenario will be him being fit for the start of next season.
The other, we didn't get the minimum 5 goals we deserved. Although it's a thing of beauty seeing "Poundshop Tommy Elphick" sat on his ass as Kulivert scores the third : )

Very enjoyable pre-match amble around the ground, missed out on the Churros but partook of the Hog roast, delicious : )
Much better than the burgery or hot dogging stuff usually on offer at other grounds : )

I wouldn't say Brighton were poor because they didn't have much choice the way we played. We played brilliantly as a team, they couldn't live with us. Andoni's got them playing so well and we converted 3 of our chances. Even at 1-0 I thought we were much more likely to score than them. Solanke, Kluivert, Unal, Semenyo all played in at least 2 positions. Excellent cross from Dango for the second goal
: )

If De Zerbi's a tactical genius, what does that make Andoni : )

I'm not sure how popular the safe standing is for those in the back 10 rows of the North Stand but once the singing starts it sounds louder. Also heard the South Stand today : )

Only one more home game : (
Win that and we crash 50 points ( in the unlikely event we don't win next week). Also the traditional "pitchie" ; )
On the match I agree. Can't comment on the amble around the ground as I was sat on my comfee sofa here in NA watching the game. Like you, I didn't think Brighton were that bad but just ineffective. That passing for the sake of passing, especially around the keeper and back four, reminded me of that stuff under Parker. At one stage in the first half it did look like both teams lost sparkle and as our Peacock commentator said, it looks like both teams are on the beach. AI must have said something at HT as we came out and from the beginning we looked so much more aggressive and sharper and didn't think we would let Brighton into the game. There were a number of excellent performances but as he seems to get the most carping calls on here I'll note that I thought Dango has his best all-round game for us. He got out of a few tight areas in the LB position and was lively going forward. Scott is also improving and a pity that Unal didn't put that excellent chance away but he played well. Onwards and upwards and even though I'd like to see any other than a Man City title, I look forward to us getting in the way of Arsenal's title bid.
