Pre Match trial of outside area - observations

I really liked the atmosphere, vibe was just right, gave me a chance to catch up with a load of mates. Obviously the weather made it so it would be good to have some shelter for rainy days. I agree with other comments, a tie in with a local brewery would be nice. If you want some suggestions...

    Anybody remember who wrote this?

Talking about Savi, was sent this by several people at the weekend (happened in Sept but haven't seen it mentioned anywhere?) : https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/merseyside-police-special-constable-sacked-27791981

    Storm Ciaran

One of the schools I work in had a tree come down late on Wednesday that crushed a student's car. Thankfully the lad wasn't in it at the time but that is why these decisions were taken.

Please note, supporters are not permitted to bring umbrellas into the stadium.

I'm just glad we've stopped talking about drums.... Interesting research from Seth on Twitter:

    East Stand

I had the privilege of watching yesterday's match from the East Stand platform. I have to say that the stewards and staff were simply brilliant, spending so much time caring and looking after some very vulnerable supporters. Yes we were all really gutted about the result but fair play AFCB...

Fair play to Cllr Sharon Carr-Brown.

This is not the first time either. I told Sharon about the flooding before a game in September and she was out there with Cllr Anne-Marie Moriarty sweeping away the leaves the next week. I would say this but elect a Labour councillor and you get someone who deeply cares for their area.

    Air Show 2023

The kioks were privatised years ago so I don't the council makes a lot of money from them. Is there a park and ride? I didn't think it operated this year? They do make money from car parks although the last administration did their best to sell off a lot of them to build expensive flats.

    Air Show 2023

I quite like the air show although it has got it faults - environmental, it's pretty much the same every year and most of the stalls are uninteresting to me personally. But it does cost the council £479,000 each year to put on. And this is at a time when national government funding of councils...

    WTF was that drum about?

So great to be called a tw8t by Gary again, made my day and Druss that made me laugh, thank you! Feel free to blame me for anything and everything except of course Brexit. I'm a regular reader on here but sadly due to work, I can nowadays only make one or maybe two games a season. So I get to...
