FA Cup broadcast rights

Just have to wait and see what whoever the terrestrial channel will get.

Spoilt with BBC and ITV sharing it, but hopefully a terrestrial channel will still get a couple of first picks per round with a replay chucked in… if they still exist by then.

Hopefully as well they show some interesting games rather than whoever the big four are playing.
in my eyes when it comes to fa cup the lowest ranked teams should get the tv spots, they need any money received from it more then the big teams.
the magic of the fa cup was always the potential giant killings not a match you get at least twice a season anyway

I think it is over saturated now with all these cup games on terrestrial TV. As long as decent games are free-to-air I'd be quite happy with Wrexham vs Coventry being behind a pay wall.
(Hopefully we get more money from it).
All our games will still be on Southern Television I presume? (One for the teenagers)

I always loved the romance of a non league team playing and beating a prem team. Doesnt really happen anymore and most non league teams are knocked out by league 1amd 2 teams. The level and professionalism in the 4 main div has increased so much in the past couple decades.
Even a league 1 team can rest players vs a non league team. Still love the FA cup though. Should get rid of the carsbao cup as no one really Cares except
Maybe spurs fans but they can’t even win that

Andy Steggall with coverage of Southend Utd and Oxford Utd home games ….

I'm sure league 1 and 2 clubs care about the carabao Cup with extra money it generates for the clubs involved, if we were still in league 1 or 2 I doubt many would be calling for the cup to be strapped

There’s very little cash in the League Cup, I remember years ago, way before we were even promoted to the Championship saying it needs a revamp. Maybe not have the Premier League clubs involved or make it a British Cup with the Scottish sides in it.

Make it different and interesting. With its European qualification spot however it’ll never happen.

I've also eradicated Boreham Wood from my memory.

O

Our last renewal for sky a couple of months ago went from £60 PM to £140 PM. After some negotiation , by dropping TNT it came down to 85pm
£22 a month for Sport on NOW, £9.99 films, £4.99 entertainment
All due to threatening to cancel.

little cash in the comp but say 3 or 4 stadium sell outs can make a difference, I think because our club doesn't need the finance from cup runs anymore some people forget how important they can be to certain clubs

I don’t remember anyone thinking the League Cup was a waste when we went on our run to the QFin 14/15 ….
Also , those of us who were there when we knocked PL Blackburn out at Ewood Park after a pulsating 3-3 draw wouldn’t have said it was a waste of time ..
