Las Vegas calling

Maybe Bournemouth council can work with the people of Vegas and they can create Bournemouth in to a Vegas of UK. Casino's etc.

We have 'Bos-vegas' slightly different vibes but some similarities. Full of foreigners, people knocking about at all hours, a pedestrian only area where theres always some kind of live street entertainment to see be it alcohol induced at 8 in the morning or alcohol induced at midnight, water features , usually urine, in doorways, the possibility of being pickpocketed ,the opportunity to gamble on the fruities in the boozers and sand nearby. I'm surprised they're not twin towns. Viva BosVegas!!

5 hour flight from Toronto, thought it might be less.

Almost went to see them when they visited Minnesota a few summers ago. Glad I didn't, it wasn't much of a party.
I would beg to differ, pre and post match we had a great time with the locals. We even joined them on their usual half hour trip from the pub to the ground in a hired old yellow school bus. Beer was included in the cost of the trip and freely handed out on the way to the ground, we almost got thrown off when we started booing their version of "when the Saints going marching in".
As for the Minnesota goalie................................ me and the wife are in top right as ball goes in the net!

I visited with a mate in the 80s- amazing place, nowhere like it. We drove over from California, through the Mojave Desert and via Death Valley which was a pretty unique driving experience. First realised we were in Nevada when stopped off to get petrol and visited the gents- to be met with slot machines either side of the cubicles. You don’t get that at Warwick. Vegas though- never sleeps. Huge rooms chock full of gaming machines and tables- all indoors. Could be 4am or 4pm- you lose track of time. Awesome shows and attractions though- mostly to entice you in to play the tables. We were lucky- placed a limit on what we were prepared to spend, ended up about £60 up. Would love to go back to watch the Golden Knights- show a bit of fraternity and all that.
Loved it when I went. Not sure I’d go back. One of those tick it off and soak it in places. Drove over from Palm Springs which I loved also. Great vibe at night and the casinos have to be seen to be believed. Also loved the ‘old’ vegas with memories of Bond films even though it’s a lot less spectacular. Bonkers place, about as American as you can get. Kind of filed in the same section as Dubai in my mind. Well worth going… I think only once though.

Stay here....the club don't need to go there.

LV is one of the last places on Earth i'd want to be in. New York was bad enough.
Full of Crap(s) .( no pun intended).

Thanks RH, I had just seen the write-ups that the turnout was very low. But glad it was a good time for you.

Really enjoyed Vegas, I would go back, probably a max of four days though, definitely a stop along the way rather than a sole destination for me

As it’s been mentioned, I love NY, got a great buzz about it. The helicopter trip round the sights is amazing
