AFC Bournemouth v Leicester City - Fifth Round FA Cup

The Leicester game could not have come at a worst time. We have just come out of a tough encounter against Man City and now we have to play Leicester in front of two mega important League games. We will be tired for the Leicester game and we will not be able to rotate the squad a great deal due to having eight players out on loan. So, by the time we get to Burnley we will be tired, fatiqued and stretched. This could cost us three mega important PL points.

Thank god Leicester played Friday night and they have had 22 hours more to overcome this. This is a total injustice, it’s a conspiracy, planned by the anti AFCB world.
Whoever thought any footballer in the world could play twice in a week, needs to give their head a wobble. AFCB players suffer from fatigue, no other player in the world has to overcome this. This is so unfair.

Your comment just goes to prove how block headed and narrow minded you are. We have two very important PL games against two sides who are in the bottom three. These are games we must win if we inrend to pull ourselves away from lingering fears of relegation We could well do without having to play Leicester in mid week before hand where it will be difficult to rest players due to having so many squad players out on loan.

Please try to engage brain and think!

You’ve not said we are going to lose to Leicester, just Burnley. What’s brought on this amazing positive outlook? A lovely Sunday lunch? Bottle of Chateauneuf de pape?

Block headed and narrow minded is my forte. You’ve nailed me. My hands are up.

Leicester have lost two Championship matches on the bounce, haven't they? Hopefully, the rest some players for this fixture. Mind you, we should probably rest some too.

Oh for gods sake, don't you think Leicester have just had a game, a nice easy one at Leeds as well as 2 lots of travelling!! We have loads of players to rotate the squad. I could pick a pretty damn good second 11 with what we have available.

This/Next ... has always confused me. I guess it should be 'this' if the week the day we're talking about has begun, and next if it's before the Sunday (the week before), but it certainly causes confusion.
I think it’s one for the pedants.

There you go again, you just can't stop throwing childish insults at people can you. Hopefully won't be too long before you are banned from here.

Err

Travers
Smith Mepham Senesi Kerkez
Cook Scott
Dango Faivre Sinisterra
Unal

We literally have the depth to rest 7 of the team that started against Man City and still be more than strong enough to win this game. I’m not sure what you’re talking about. The injuries to Aarons and Kelly mean that we can’t really rotate much at the back but injuries happen, every club has them. I’m not sure how you’ve come to the conclusion that because we’ve loaned out Rothwell, Brooks, Antony and Moore that we can’t rotate for this game. Three of the players we loaned out were replaced, Rothwell the only one that wasn’t. You must know that you’re chatting ******************************** here?

More a case of giving others an opportunity than resting players for me. Leicester may be championship right now but they have a lower end PL squad, it’s the perfect situation to give the likes of Unal and Faivre starts to give them the experience of playing a PL standard team without three points at stake. Probably the perfect fixture for us in some ways.
