AFC Bournemouth v Leicester City - Fifth Round FA Cup

The last time and only the second time we have reached the Quarterfinal.

If we do win tonight, maybe it will be third time lucky for the Cherries and we get to the semi-finals for the first time.

Remember our first season Billy could reaching the 6th round be the norm we soon found out. I wonder who will get the Ollie Norris role at throw ins?

That would be an interesting one for the modern day referee. ;)

I wonder what VAR would have made of the penalty given against us and the winning goal for the Busby Babes.

Whilst I'd be cautious of LCFC manager statements and predictions about making wholesale changes (sounds a bit like playing down your hand to me), you know as well as I do that BOTH teams will rotate to some extent. Both teams will want to look at some fringe players, for better or worse.

By all means take 'PL in all but name' opposition seriously, but let's not over do it!
I believe that their fringe players will be fitter than ours as they play in the PL League 2. They would have had regular minutes whilst our fringe players do not get regular minutes due only have a CAT 2 academy. This will make all the difference on the night. Mepham, Billing and Faivre for example, have not a good 90 minutes for some time.

I have a stomach churning feeling that Leicester will be too strong for us on the night. We will be rotating (of which is wise). However, a lot our our fringe players have not had a lot of minutes and may well be puffing like a steam engine before half time. Look what happened against Swansea. We went 0-2 down. Leicester are a PL team temporarily playing in the Championship. They will certainly not be push overs.
Once again you make a fool of yourself.
We were 5-0 up at halftime against Swansea.
Please don’t feel free to reply. You’ll only look a silly billy again.
I bid you a crackpot day!,

I would like to see Unal playing up front instead of Dom, with Dom playing in the role that Kluivert has had recently. This would give Dom a bit more room and freedom to find space and the chance to latch on to Unal's knock downs. This seems to me to be a very effective way of using both players.

Up until recently, Faivre was playing in Ligue 1 regularly and has looked decent in the last 2 cameos... Mepham always looks decent whenever he comes on... He is just victim of having two better CBs ahead of him...

I don't see we will make wholesale changes... Probably 5 maximum... Get out of your negativity spin dude and focus on how we can win...

The problem is that we shouldn't play Solanke at all. We want him sharp for the Burnley game of which is of far more importance.

Stop it

Looking forward to this on with tingling anticipation. Oddsmakers have us as big favourites, which gets the nerves going. Looking forward to a win, would be disappointed with a loss. Won't be Swansea, so we do need a strong starting lineup.
