Ilya Zabarnyi

Spurs interested apparently. Would be a shame to lose him, he's been very good of late.

This is the para I like from Team Talk.

Tottenham reportedly have Bournemouth centre-back Illia Zabarnyi on their radar for January, but the Cherries have ‘no interest’ in selling.

Basically if they want him, they're going to have to part with an awful lot of money.

Think Zabarnyi is a real talent and is adjusting to the prem league. Better to be a definite starter at afcb for another year before joining a club like spurs where game time can vary and fans get on a player’s back if they make mistakes. Diffrent for lloyd as he is more experienced in English football and prob time to make a big move

Certainly isn't worth making a small profit on at this early stage.

Ake got moved around for a while comparatively cheaply to what his true value is.

I doubt City would sell for less than 80 million at the moment.

I remember saying at the time he handled the England forwards very efficiently for Ukraine. He looked better than McGuire then.

He is bound to be worth a huge fee the more he develops.

Ange seems to admire our centre backs. He rates Cameron Vickers highly and Phillips is also playing for Celtic now.

He's going nowhere for a while, so we can all just ignore this rumour.

Bill has pretty much ruled out any outgoings of important players at this moment in time.

Besides, like dragonm8 says, now would be a terrible time to sell him.
His stock is still rising and he is an important part of our on field success.

We'll hang onto him for a while longer I'm sure.
Nice of Spurs to put absolutely no money on the table and try to unsettle him though ! W*nkers.

Not sure if it was mentioned on the match day thread at the time, but the commentator mentioned that Zabarnyi is one of only 3 outfield players in the PL that have played every single minute. Of course this can be a two way street, you have to be picked by the manager and not rotated/rested but I thought worth mentioning since we signed him injured last season.

Another player written off by a few before the start of the season.

Used to be trotted out as yet another example of our terrible recruitment, not so much these days. Why oh why do people fall over themselves to slag our players off as soon as they possibly can. Unal went off with a shoulder injury.... Yet another injury prone player apparently. How can you enjoy supporting a club if this is your mindset?

If you aren't constantly moaning about how sh7t something/someone is you're a happy clapper and therefore not entitled to an opinion.

Zabs started this season a bit slowly, and I wondered if he might be dropped, but Andoni had faith in him, and it's come good. Zabs seems pretty solid now. If a couple of goals can be added from set pieces like Senesi, that will be great and make him into an even more complete player. Things are going well for him, though:)
